Accounting Firm Shows Community Commitment

accounting firm of Bert Smith & Company, based in Washington, D.C.,
has announced its commitment to continuing support for a broad cross-section
of charitable causes in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
According
to Managing Partner George S. Willie, the firm is honoring its longstanding
tradition of giving back to the community, a record of service that
dates back to the firm's founding in 1948. "We have long recognized
that our organization is part of the community," Willie explains, "and
we're proud to support many of the leading organizations that provide
services and support to individuals and families in the region. From
national groups such as the American Lung Association, American Heart
Association and the National Kidney Foundation, to local organizations
